Week 15

Now, this is the week that we have to present it to the accessors. There are two accessors that access me which are

Week 14

For this week, I have to finish my slide for my presentation next week. I use Microsoft Office Power Point to finish my slide but the layout for my slide I take it in the google template free.

After I finish my slide, I just try to present it to myself and my friends. Just do some preparation for presentation next week.

Week 13

In this week, we have a FYP briefing which is tell us about the content for the slide for our presentation. There are some important things that have to attach in the slide which are

• Problem statement
• Objective
• What are our key idea/contribution
• How we improve technology
• Methodology

Week 12

In week 12, there are some work I do which is the plan layout and also the estimated costing which. Below is my plan layout :-

The costing is just estimate because I do not know the real cost yet. So the table below shows that the costing for my project.

This week also have to send the draft for the plagiarism check to Madam Marwangi and I have to wait for her respond after that I can continue doing my work.

Week 11

This week I do some schematic diagram for my tracker. I use software named Fritzing and below is my schematic diagram.

Week 10

This week I keep research for my journal and start to write it on my proposal. I have to understand the journal carefully cause I cannot just copy and paste because it is stated as plagiarism. So I have to use my own word to the journal review to prevent plagiarism.

Next, I also research more about the hardware and software. This time is more detail about the function of the software and hardware and also their specification of the hardware and software.

Week 9

In this week, I try to research about my flowchart and what i get is my flowchart is as shown below :

I also start my literature review which is I find the journal in the internet and read. I try to understand the journal because I have to write it on my proposal report which is stated in Chapter 2 : Literature Review.

Week 8

In this week, I had do research for my block diagram which is have to attach it on Methodology in Chapter 1.

On 26th April 2017 , Wednesday, we had been teach about Methodology in chapter 1 and how to attach it on proposal report.

The methodology have to consist of :

Week 7

This week I start to proceed with chapter 1 for FYP1 which is the content on chapter 1 is as stated below :

• Objective of the project
• Significance of the project
• Scope and limitation of the project
• Chapter's summary

For chapter 2 is Literature review means that we have to tell all about our research such as the journal, newspaper and so on. But I just tell about my research on journal that is have a same title with me which is about the GSM/GPS, Motorcycle Tracker and so on.

Week 6

About this week, I try to learn about software use. I had search the Arduino 1.9.6 software in Youtube on how to use the software. For this time, I had just study the basic on how the software works.

Week 5

I do some research about Arduino. The first thing I try to find the software to use to program the arduino to make my project function as I want. The result I find is I will use Arduino 1.9.6.

I also research my project on Youtube to more understand about how my project is function and all the hardware.

After some explanation from my supervisor, I had more understand about my project and the hardware use in my project and the cost for the hardware.

Week 4

FYP1 Briefing

The first FYP1 briefing :

Date : 15th March 2017, Wednesday

Venue : TTL 1

In this briefing, they had explained about the logbook or blog.

This is the content of the briefing that have to put in the logbook/blog :

Here I present to you the flow for my FYP1 proposal

Week 3

On this week, I do the research about my title and find out the journal related to security, tracker, gps/gsm and so on. On my research, I find out that this project will use some hardware such as vibrator sensor, arduino, battery and some software which I do not know the software yet. After I do this research, I saw the very little about how to do my project.

Actually for this week there is first FYP1 briefing but there is some problem that make the briefing postponed to next week.

Week 2

Then, for this week, I had think about the project and I go to ask him about my draft project. I have 3 project that I want to ask but my first project was make me interesting after talk to my supervisor which is motorcycle tracker. I suggest to him that I will do vibrator sensor detect the motorcycle to send the message to the handphone but he suggest me to do the apps for tracker that can be use to all things. Then, I went back to do some research about this project.

Week 1

This is the first week and my first week is to find the supervisor for my final year project proposal. Actually, before semester 6 that i pick my final year project subject, i try to find Mr. Saiful Azizi, a lecturer in Data Communications to be my supervisor but he tells that he already have some student. Then, he suggest to me about Mr. Safyzan Bin Salim to be my supervisor and he agreed with me.

So here is the details of my supervisor which is Mr. Safyzan Bin Salim, one of lecturer in UniKL BMi

From the first time I see him, I know that he has major knowledge in Arduino. So, I decided to think about the project that is related to Arduino.
